Working with Rocky was a wonderful experience. I was undertaking a major move from Chicago to New York and had never flown with my dog before. As she has anxiety issues even traveling in the car I knew it would be complicated. And I had a lot of other issues to deal with, so I wanted someone who could make that part of my life easier.
From the beginning Rocky was easy to communicate with. It took me about 6 weeks of going back and forth, trying to decide, and Rocky was very patient during the whole time. I liked that he had an extensive history of transporting animals and was very familiar with the process at O'Hare Airport. He was very clear and helpful in planning how everything would go, and what I needed to provide (food, health certificates, etc.) I loved that he provided the right size carrier for my dog and let me keep it so now I can travel in the future with the right equipment. Overall he was very professional but personable and reassuring so that I was confident I could trust my dog with him. The trip went extremely well, without a hitch, and when we arrived at the airport I could see she had been well taken care of. I highly recommend Rocky and would hire him again in a similar situation.
- Maggy FPet Pro's Response:
Maggy and Zazou were great to work with, Zazou was so sweet and is such a good dog. Congratulations on your move to New York!
- Rocky VentrelloThanks to Rocky Ventrello, we were able to get our three cats across the country from east coast to west. We didn't know how we would accomplish that feat because I couldn't fly, and the cats' owner couldn't drive. Rocky made it happen (and with fairly short notice, not that I recommend that part).
He explained the process and planned the trip nicely, communicating the process, steps, and possible changes. Rocky was accommodating, reassuring, and nice.
The cats had never flown before. Rocky ordered the carriers, harnesses, and leashes for their flight to be sent to us so that the cats could get used to the carriers, and there would be no switching of crates at the airport, where the cats could get loose. (No other transporter I spoke with ordered the gear or had the cats on leashes and harnesses so that they couldn't get loose at security.)
Rocky took all three of them through airport security with no issues. He frequently checked on the cats in-flight to see how they were doing. (They were under passenger seats in front of him in the cabin. We would never fly our pets in cargo.) During the long wait pre-flights and layover, he paid attention to the cats, prioritizing their care and safety.
Rocky went above and beyond. We would absolutely hire him again if we need pet transporting services, and I recommend him whole-heartedly. Thank you so much, Rocky. I don't know what we would have done without you.
- D PPet Pro's Response:
