Deana Mazurkiewicz, NCMG, is a National Certified Master Groomer with the National Dog Groomers Association of America, Intellectual Groomer Master Stylist and a Intellectual Master Arline Stylist with Intellectual Groomers Association.She is a registered member of the National Cat Groomers Institute and Creative Groomers Association, a former board member of two different animals organizations. An International Judges Association member and most recently an IJA Judge.

Deana has 24 years of grooming experience, and is currently a home based business owner. After owning and operating a successful salon in New Tampa for over 13 years that was voted best of Tampa Bay more than four years in a row, she decided it was time to open her own home based, one on one business, to better serve her valued clients. Deana’s business proudly offers straight through grooming while you wait.

Throughout her career, Deana competed across the USA and placed at every major grooming competition she has entered, including:
· Best In Show,
· Best All Around Groomer,
· Bronze and Silver Medal winner at Intergroom. Countless 1st, 2nd and Third placements.

Deana recognizes the importance of continued education and learning and while she was self-taught when she started grooming at the age of 18, she finished her first certification with her Cocker Spaniel 6 months into her grooming career and then became a NCMG.
Deana has been featured on local TV stations for her grooming, and has been a featured speaker at the Tampa Pet Expo, a guest on live with Tracie Hotchner. She competed one time In entry and placed 1st with every dog she competed with and went on to win Best In Show. She spent two shows in intermediate before moving up to the expert “A” division. She ranked in Groom Team points in the years she competed. A Cardnial Achivement Award nominee in 2015 for congeniality. Deana stopped competing in 2009 to focus on her daughter and family. She has owned American Pit Bull Terriers most of her life, but currently owns two Rough Coated Collies, a breed she grew to love after competing with them in competition rings around the USA and placing in A division.

Deana enjoys volunteering for causes that are dear to her and does some volunteering with her dogs, as they are certified therapy dogs, working with an autistic children’s reading program, nursing homes and hospitals. Deana is proud to bring her 10 year-old daughter along.

Deana grew up with a love of animals, becoming a vegetarian at a young age. She owned horses and got her first American Cocker Spaniel at the age of 16. She currently lives in Zephyrhills, Florida, with her husband and daughter on their small horse farm that includes dogs, cats, horses, chickens and more. Please contact us through Petworks. PetWorks Cancellation Policy Pet Care Professional's Own Policy If a pet care professional has published their own cancellation or refund policy, that policy governs the refund of the service amount only. Any PetWorks fees, including the Care Coverage Fee and Pet Care Professional Cancellation Fee, are governed by this PetWorks Cancellation Policy and not by the pet care professional's policy. Pet Parent Cancels If the pet care professional has not published their own cancellation policy, the service amount is refundable only if the pet parent cancels at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time of the booking. Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable for the service amount. The Care Coverage Fee is non-refundable when a pet parent cancels, regardless of timing and regardless of whether the pet care professional has their own cancellation policy. Pet Parent No-Show If a pet parent does not show up for a confirmed booking, no refund will be issued for the service amount or the Care Coverage Fee. Pet Care Professional Cancels If a pet care professional cancels a confirmed booking, the pet parent receives a 100% refund of everything they paid, including the Care Coverage Fee. The pet care professional receives no payment for the canceled service and is charged a Pet Care Professional Cancellation Fee equal to 10% of the service amount, up to a maximum of $150. PetWorks may collect this fee by deducting it from a future payout through PetWorks or by other means if no future payout is available. Policy in Effect at Booking The cancellation rules that apply to a booking, including any pet care professional cancellation policy on file and the Pet Care Professional Cancellation Fee rate, are those that were in effect when the booking was confirmed.
