As a Fear Free Certified Professional and a member of both the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement (APLB) and the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC), I ensure that each moment is handled with kindness and sensitivity. Since August 2022, I've been committed to helping pet parents make informed decisions during this difficult time, offering my expertise to care for cats, dogs, chickens, chinchillas, ferrets, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rats.

Being in Brooklyn and seeing the company was based in NJ, when I called, I thought it was a real long shot that I'd get someone to come to us on New Year's Eve. I'd almost given up hope and was getting anxious about whether Milo would last even a couple of more days till after the holiday, and if so, without distress. But Dr. Dana came through and was wonderful. I miss Milo terribly, but I will always be comforted by the peaceful passing provided by HomeHeart Vets. He slept comfortably through the whole thing and barely reacted. Thank you for this gift. Here's a pic of sweet Milo on the day I adopted him. He was already 10. I will treasure the six years I had with him. Thanks to HomeHeart, there are no tainted memories of an unpleasant passing.
