Historic District, downtown Hampton, VA
Joy-Chi Veterinary Acupuncture is a holistic veterinary practice located in the Historic district of downtown Hampton, VA. In most instances, we schedule in our clinic, but when our schedule allows, we do have some availability for certain types of house calls on a per case basis.
Chinese herbal medicine is a very helpful modality in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. After your initial consultation and pet's exam with Dr. Bross, she typically prescribes at least 1 Chinese herbal formula to assist in your pet's treatment plan. Your initial consultation can include acupuncture and always includes food therapy and a prescription for Chinese herbal medicine and instruction on how the pet parent can perform Tui-na (gentle massage and manipulation) at home each day. Even as little as 5 minutes per day will still bring benefit from Tui-na. In addition to Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, we also offer Veterinary Medical Manipulation (similar to veterinary “chiropractic”). We also offer end of life care, which also includes hospice and palliative care using integrative medicine. *prices vary depending on the services requested and the $95 listed is for the initial consultation for Veterinary Medical Manipulation only.
We are looking forward to meeting you and your pet so we can formulate a health plan together.
