HeartSong for Animals - Animal Reiki Care - Nationwide
My Reiki work with animals follows the successful Let Animals Lead® method created by Kathleen Prasad, the leading expert in Animal Reiki. I will sit quietly with your animal friend creating the healing space through meditation and breathing techniques. The session may be entirely hands-off. Your animal is free to receive in whichever way is most comfortable, sometimes coming in and out of the healing space several times. A session lasts anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour and will be done at your home in a space most comfortable for your companion.
Distant sessions are also available and are often an excellent choice if your friend is shy or frightened by strangers, or if you are too far away for an in-person visit.
During a Distant Session I suggest the person be present (though not necessary) to observe their animal friend during the session. Some of my long term clients don’t feel the need to be present and that’s fine, too. Sessions are scheduled when it is not play time or food time, though petting is nice if requested by your animal. I sit in meditation, set the intention and connect with your animal friend in that space. I also let your animal know they are free to turn down the session. Later, I touch base with you for discussion.
