Gentle Distance Animal Reiki | Calm, Comfort & Energetic Sup - Nationwide

Member since Sep 2026

Your animal doesn’t need to understand Reiki to be receptive to a moment of peace, comfort, and loving intention.

At **House of the Mystic**, I offer gentle distance Animal Reiki sessions designed to support your pet’s overall sense of calm and well-being from the comfort and familiarity of their own home.

Animals can experience stress, fear, transitions, grief, aging, and changes in their environment just as we do. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary practice that creates a quiet space for relaxation and energetic balance without requiring your pet to be touched, restrained, or taken somewhere unfamiliar.

🐾 **Animal Reiki may be a beautiful supportive practice for pets experiencing:**

• Anxiety, nervousness, or general stress
• Changes in the home, travel, moving, or a new family member
• Aging and senior-life transitions
• Recovery periods alongside appropriate veterinary care
• Grief after the loss of an animal or human companion
• Rescue, adoption, or adjustment to a new home
• End-of-life and hospice situations, offering a peaceful and compassionate presence
• Or simply as a nurturing wellness practice for a beloved animal

**What makes my approach different?**

I believe animals should always be given choice. I do not believe Reiki should be forced upon an animal or used as a substitute for veterinary medicine. Instead, I approach each session with respect, compassion, and the intention of allowing your pet to engage with the experience in whatever way feels appropriate for them.

Because sessions are offered remotely, your pet can remain exactly where they feel safest — curled up on their favorite blanket, sleeping beside you, hiding under the bed, playing, or simply going about their day.

Before the session, I take time to learn about your animal, their personality, what they may be experiencing, and what you hope to support. I then dedicate the Reiki session specifically to them and share observations from the session with you afterward.

My work through **House of the Mystic** combines a deep respect for animals with Reiki practice and a compassionate, intuitive approach to energetic wellness. Every animal is treated as an individual — not simply an appointment.

Dogs, cats, senior pets, rescue animals, and other companion animals are welcome.

✨ **Give your animal a quiet moment created entirely for them.**

Book a distance Animal Reiki session with House of the Mystic and allow your companion to experience gentle, loving support without ever leaving home.

Barbara is a certified animal reiki healer based in Cedar Park, TX, offering virtual sessions to pet parents and their animals nationwide. With a personalized, animal-led approach to every session, Barbara works with cats, dogs, horses, birds, and other animal companions — helping them find calm, balance, and relief from the physical and emotional challenges that affect their quality of life. The best animal reiki practitioners don't just offer energy work — they take time to understand your pet's full history, temperament, and specific needs before a session begins. Barbara brings that philosophy to every booking, working with you to ensure each session is as effective and comfortable as possible for your animal companion.

What Barbara Can Help With

Barbara works with pets across a wide range of physical and emotional challenges. Anxiety, fearfulness, and stress-related behaviors are among the most common reasons pet parents seek out a certified healer — and gentle energy work can produce meaningful, lasting calm even in highly reactive or emotionally overwhelmed animals. For aging pets managing chronic pain, reduced vitality, or the challenges of illness, reiki offers a non-invasive way to support comfort and quality of life alongside traditional veterinary care.

Barbara also works with rescue animals and recently rehomed pets — helping them release emotional imprints from difficult past experiences and settle more fully into their new environment. For pets recovering from surgery or injury, reiki can complement the rehabilitation process by supporting the body's natural healing response and reducing stress during recovery. And for families navigating end-of-life transitions, Barbara provides gentle, compassionate support — offering comfort and energetic balance for both the animal and the people who love them.
