Fraser In Home Pet Euthanasia - Marlborough, MA

Member since Oct 2019

It has been my honor to help families in central MA and Metro West during one of the most difficult times. I approach end-of-life care and home euthanasia from a whole family perspective. My goal is always to approach each situation with a calm and respectful disposition. The comfort and love your pet and family feels during a home euthanasia experience is very important to me. I will always be open about each step in the process and allow you to take the time you need with your pet.

My family is also very important to me. My hours are generally based around my three kids and their school/sports schedules. I do my best to help every family that contacts me. Because of my limited hours, I recommend reaching out a few days before your desired appointment day. I completely understand that situations can change very quickly and emergencies arise no matter how well you try to plan. I do my very best but often same-day or emergency appointments are not possible.

If you are unsure about your decision regarding home euthanasia or what to expect after your pet is diagnosed with a terminal disease, please reach out for an in-person quality-of-life consultation. I use this time to gently examine your pet, answer all your questions, and help you make a plan moving forward.

I'm on the road everyday so texting me is the most efficient way of reaching me. I look forward to helping guide more families through the end-of-life transition for their beloved pets.

🦔 Compassionate In-Home Pet Euthanasia by Dr. Rebecca Fraser

When the time comes to say goodbye, where it happens matters. Dr. Rebecca comes to your home so your dog or cat can pass peacefully in a familiar, loving environment — surrounded by the sights, smells, and people they know.

Dr. Rebecca provides gentle, respectful in-home pet euthanasia in Marlborough, MA, serving pet parents throughout Middlesex County and surrounding areas including Boston, Worcester, Cambridge, Lowell, Newton, Quincy, Lynn, Somerville, Waltham, Framingham. Each visit is paced entirely around you and your pet — there is no rush, no cold clinic setting, and no moment spent away from home.

What should I expect during Dr. Rebecca's visit?

When Dr. Rebecca arrives, they will take time to meet you and your pet, answer any questions you have, and ensure you feel comfortable before anything begins. There is no rush.

The visit typically has three stages. First, a sedative is administered to help your pet relax completely — most pets become calm and drowsy within a few minutes. Second, once your pet is fully at ease, the final medication is given. The process is gentle and painless, and your pet will simply drift off to sleep. Third, Dr. Rebecca will confirm the passing and give you as much time as you need to say goodbye. You are welcome to hold your pet, have family members present, or simply sit quietly together. The entire visit is guided entirely by you.
