Hello! I’m thrilled to introduce myself as a passionate pet care professional with over 15 years of experience in the field. I’ve been a bonded and insured petsitter since 2008, but my journey began much earlier, working at a veterinary hospital kennel in 1990. By 2000, I became a Veterinary Assistant and Kennel Manager, honing my skills in animal care. Recently, I transitioned from my part-time role at a local veterinary clinic to managing Dog Days Inn in Madison, OH. This shift allows me to dedicate my full attention to petsitting while ensuring that every furry (or scaly) friend receives the individualized care they deserve.
As a certified professional with credentials from the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR, along with a Pet Sitters International (PSI) certification, I take my responsibilities seriously. I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, birds, and even exotic pets like chinchillas and snakes, all while serving my community for more than a decade. My own experience as a pet parent, currently caring for three cats, a lop bunny, and two Leonbergers, allows me to empathize with pet owners and ensure their companions feel safe and loved in their own homes. I typically visit dogs 3-4 times a day and offer 1-2 visits for cats, providing peace of mind when you're away.
I understand that some pets thrive better in their own environment rather than in a kennel, which is why I’ve dedicated my career to being a trusted petsitter. I also offer services such as medication administration and even retrieving your mail or watering plants while you're away.
