Before training, our girl was a handful and making life difficult: constant counter-surfing (she’d steal food off the counters any chance she got), nonstop barking at every little noise or visitor, jumping on people and furniture the second someone walked in, and pulling like crazy on the leash during walks, making outings stressful and no fun. After a week long boot camp all of those behaviors are completely under control (or gone entirely!) She no longer counter-surfs, barks only when there’s a real reason (and even then, it’s manageable), greets people calmly with all four paws on the floor, and walks beautifully on a loose leash. Our home is so much more peaceful, and walks are actually enjoyable now instead of a battle. Mel is knowledgeable, kind, great at explaining things clearly to both us and the dog, and truly cares about building a happy relationship between owners and pets.
