Equine Navicular Rehab - Horse Physical Therapy - Burbank, CA
Most hoof issues are man-made. Because of poor angles and a hard ground, many horses develop caudal heel pain, begin traveling toe first, and develop what's known as a "high" or "low" heel -- basically, deforming their foot and causing them to strain their tendons, ligaments and the bone. By allowing the horse to travel comfortably on their heels again, you can stop and even reverse the symptoms of navicular, arthritis, ringbone, and many other hoof problems.
Many people who contact me have horses who are lame, stumbling, unhappy on the bit, or who are having problems collecting. Most of my customers have called when bar shoes and wedges have failed them, and they’re thinking of either nerving or putting their horse down. With the correct set up, an anti-inflammatory diet, and the right rehab plan, I can stop and even reverse your horse's navicular disease.
Call, text, or message today for a free consultation! I travel locally and also offer remote zoom sessions.
