Compassionate Care In Grief | Loss and Meaningful Ritual - Nationwide
As someone who cares deeply, my holistic approach combines compassionate self-inquiry, somatic practices, and meaningful soul conversations that invite you to meet grief, death, and threshold moments with presence and compassion. Together we will take emotional complexity, grief, confusion, and the full expanse of our humanity and make it livable and meaningful.
A space to tend to your grief, just as it is.
These sessions are an invitation to bring your whole experience into the room—without judgment, without needing to shape it into something more acceptable or understood.
Grief can feel disorienting.
Unfamiliar.
At times, unbearable.
Together, we gently explore what life after loss feels like for you—not as something to solve, but as something to meet with care. In our time together, there is room to:
✨ Speak the truth of your grief, in your own words and your own time
✨ Be met with compassion as you navigate the changing landscape of your life
✨ Explore what support looks like when things feel overwhelming
✨ Learn gentle ways to hold and move with intense emotion
✨ Tend to your nervous system and create moments of steadiness
✨ Clarify boundaries and deepen trust in yourself as you move through grief
✨ Reflect on what it means to live alongside loss, and what continues to matter
Where helpful, I may also offer resources, education, or referrals to trusted practitioners and specialists—ensuring you are supported in ways that extend beyond this space.
There is no right way to grieve.
Only your way.
These sessions are here to support you in discovering what that looks like—
and to remind you that you do not have to walk it alone.

💙 There are moments in the grief process when what you need most is simply to be heard by someone who truly understands — someone who knows that the loss of a pet is not a small thing, that the silence in the home is real, and that what you are carrying deserves the same compassion and attention as any profound loss. That is what Jennifer offers.
What Jennifer Can Help You With
Pet loss grief arrives differently for everyone — and Jennifer works with each client according to where they are in their own process, without a fixed agenda or a predetermined timeline. Sessions with Jennifer typically address processing the immediate emotional aftermath of losing a pet, navigating anticipatory grief for those preparing to say goodbye to an aging or seriously ill companion, working through guilt and doubt around end-of-life decisions including euthanasia, finding meaningful and personal ways to honor your pet's memory, adjusting to a daily routine that has been fundamentally altered by their absence, and helping other family members — including children and surviving pets — move through the loss in their own way. If you are not sure exactly what you need, that is completely normal. Jennifer's first session is designed to help you find that out together.
Why Book With Jennifer
Choosing the right person to help you through pet loss is a deeply personal decision — and the most important thing is finding someone whose presence feels safe and whose approach feels right for you. Because sessions are conducted virtually, there is no commute, no waiting room, and no need to hold yourself together in a clinical setting — you can show up exactly as you are, from the place where you feel closest to your pet's memory. Jennifer serves clients throughout Washington and is available to anyone nationwide through PetWorks.
