After graduating, she embarked on a career in private practice, where she honed her skills in veterinary care. Later, she explored civil service and even ventured into the world of mobile pet grooming.

A pivotal moment in her career came when she witnessed her neighbors struggling to transport their elderly dogs for a final procedure. It was then that Dr. Scott-Emuakpor realized the critical need for in-home euthanasia services.
