ClickR TrainR - Certified Private Dog Trainer - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Member since Dec 2020

Hello my name is Brian Sugerman, I am a certified, in-home, positive reinforcement dog trainer.
My training sessions are done in your home as this is where your dog spends most or their time, is the most comfortable, and there are the least amount of distractions. We always want to set your dog up for success and your home is where that is most likely to occur. My goal is to teach YOU how to communicate with your dog in the way he/she naturally understands. This understanding reduces stress and anxiety in both you and your dog because your dog will learn what is expected of him or her. I use only positive reinforcement techniques which keeps your dog happy and eager to learn with out the anxiety of possibly being punished. Clicker Training is a science based method of training any animal. The "click" marks the desired behavior at the exact time the behavior is being performed. This way, your dog will know exactly what they are being reinforced for. With this style of training not only will your dog listen to you, but you will also build bond with them that most other dog owners will never know. Please feel free to check out my website at clickRtrainR.com

My fee is $100 per hour session if paid week by week or I have a discounted plan for 6 weeks paid upfront for $540. ($90 per session) with this plan at a minimum, your dog will learn sit, stay, down, come, and proper leash walking. However, we can adjust this plan to your needs and address any behavioral issues that your dog may be displaying. You do not have to choose which plan to take until the end of your first session.

Please contact and book my private dog training services on Petworks. Thank You.

Widely recognized credentials include the CPDT-KA or CPDT-KSA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, which demonstrate mastery of modern training techniques, canine behavior, and learning theory. The KPA-CTP (Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner) highlights trainers skilled in positive reinforcement and clicker training, while the IAABC Certified Dog Trainer credential, recognized internationally, signals advanced knowledge in behavior modification and problem-solving. Membership or certification through the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) further reflects ongoing education and adherence to ethical standards. Many trainers also pursue specialty certifications in areas such as aggression management, behavior modification, or puppy development to address specific challenges.
