Chuck and Buddha's is a family run company started by Matt Preis after years as an independent dog walker in NYC. Over the years it has grown to include his brother Mike, who now runs his own training service,. And a variety of pet loving friends and co-workers. Our walkers go through multiple interviews and reference checks before being hired - after which they complete several weeks of shadowing and one on one training with our senior walkers, our manager and on-staff dog trainer. They’re coached on proper dog handling skills, loose-leash walking, and positive-reinforcement methods. As well, new walkers are introduced to and trained on each dog on their route.
