I own and operate an Earthwise Pet store that we opened in July 2019 and have plenty of experience to help you do the best you can for your fur baby. My expertise is in commercial pet foods. I am happy to help you in the following ways:
Look at what you're feeding and make recommendations (commercial pet foods).
Look at your home made diet and recommend healthier ingredients if needed.
Give you my full typed up overview of exactly what I teach at my store day to day which each of my customers has used to learn what foods and ingredients to look for and how to store them, what supplements they need etc. Information you won't get from google, your vet, commercials or even the bag/can.
What I am not offering:
Homemade recipes, portion changes of ingredients in your recipes
There is nothing wrong with home-made, but in my experience, it is very hard for pet parents to keep up with it long term without overdosing or depleting their pets of certain nutrients by making mistakes or skipping steps/ingredients too long.

I have two certificates for feline and canine nutrition. I gave you my advice when you said you wanted to cook and I recommended a healthier way to go, but you decided you know more than I do saying it was too risky. That’s your choice. Have a great day.
- Jennifer BairdI had initially said ‘I want to switch her to a raw diet’ her response was ‘I switched my cat to raw, I can help you’ then doesn’t tell me how to safely feed my cat raw but instead send paragraphs of why kibble is bad to then say, ‘I don’t recommend using a homemade diet’

You must have not read my messages. Toward the end I discussed raw food after discussing the other four kinds of food. And no holistic vet or dietitian would recommend doing it yourself unless you follow the right recipes precisely most of the time which I also mentioned. You need to read everything I sent and be coachable to be helped and ask questions when you have them rather than skip doing that just to go straight to complaining about me this way.
