When I was about twelve, I commandeered my dad’s camera and ran after my cat, Sasha, trying to catch him on film. At the time, it was just for practice, something to bring to the darkroom at school. But I’ve been thankful ever since that I have images of the way he cocked his head to the side, and the look on his face right before he’d jump onto the bookshelf. No one knew his face better than I did, and having those expressions in front of me brings a deep joy I can’t explain but don’t need to – I bet you already know.
Since then, I’ve photographed over a thousand companions for clients and animal rescues.

A Fun-Size Experience is perfect for pet parents who are time-pressed, budget-limited, or both!
It includes a virtual planning meeting, a 20 minute session on my 6-acre property in Lewisville (plus about 10 minutes to share product samples) and a virtual BIG reveal when I will share your images and help you make your product purchase decisions. Typically, these sessions are scheduled on Thursday, Friday or Sunday evenings in the two hours before sunset.
Your $395 reservation retainer is non-refundable once we schedule your session, but rescheduling remains an option with advance notice or if Mother Nature doesn't cooperate.
I do NOT charge a session or creative fee, so the FULL amount you pay upfront will be AVAILABLE AS A CREDIT for you to apply to any artwork you decide to purchase when we meet for your BIG reveal.
Of course, if you decide you want more than the “bite-size” taste a Fun-Size Experience provides, you always have the option to upgrade to a Family-Time Experience with more flexibility—more time, more images, and a location of your choice.

For over five years I photographed adoptable animals at my local animal shelter on a monthly basis, some days as many as 30 different animals! All told, I photographed over 1,000 animals and while the majority were the expected dogs and cats, sometimes there were rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets or the random farm animal, like a goat or pig!
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Be patient and keep your camera within arms reach as much as possible.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I've traveled to a variety of locations across five continents and found animals to photograph where I go. I hope to get to Australia one of these days. Antarctica feels like a big reach, but, who knows, maybe someday?
