Cat Behavior Consultant - Austin, CO
Living with a challenging cat behavior can be frustrating, stressful, and sometimes overwhelming. My job is to help you understand why the behavior is happening and create a practical, humane plan for changing it.
I have more than 15 years of experience providing professional cat behavior consultations, along with 18 years of experience as a veterinary technician. I work with issues including litter box avoidance and urine marking, aggression between cats, aggression toward people, biting, destructive scratching, anxiety and fear, difficult cat introductions, excessive vocalization, and other challenging feline behaviors.
My approach focuses on identifying the underlying causes of behavior rather than simply trying to stop the symptom. Recommendations may include environmental changes, enrichment, behavior modification, positive reinforcement training, changes to household resources and routines, and collaboration with your veterinarian when medical factors may be contributing.
Each consultation includes a detailed review of your cat's behavior history, an individualized behavior plan, and follow-up support.
Virtual consultations are available regardless of location. In-home consultations are currently available within Delta County, Colorado.
I'm currently accepting a limited number of new behavior cases each month.
