Cape Cod Critter Care - Dog Walking and Pet Sitting - East Falmouth, MA
Hi, I’m Ashley, the owner of Cape Cod Critter Care. I’ve lived on Cape Cod for over ten years and I’m based in Falmouth. I’ve loved animals my whole life, and being a full time pet care provider has been my dream for a long time.
I grew up around all kinds of animals. We had everything from English Mastiffs to Jack Russell Terriers, cats who were treated like royalty, and I’ve also cared for birds, fish, turtles, and horses. When I moved to Cape Cod from Southern California, I started walking dogs and doing drop in visits while I worked as a home health aide. I’ve been caring for people’s pets ever since, and I’ve been serving the Upper Cape since 2023. My mom taught me that every creature deserves care and respect, and that’s the way I treat your pets. I care for them the same way I care for my own.
I specialize in cats, dogs, and small pets, and everything happens right in your home where your pet feels safe and comfortable. I don’t offer boarding. I have cats of my own and I want to keep their space calm, so all of my care is done in your pet’s familiar surroundings.
Here’s what I offer:
Dog walks. If your dog needs exercise and fresh air while you’re at work, I’ll come by and make sure they get it.
Drop in visits. I’ll take care of food, fresh water, playtime, litter box scooping, and light cleaning. I’ll also bring in your mail and water your plants so your home looks lived in while you’re away.
Overnight stays. I stay in your home so your pets have a familiar, caring person with them through the night. Some pets want their own space and some want to snuggle, and I’ll go with whatever they prefer.
Medication assistance. If your pet needs pills, liquid medicine, insulin injections, or subcutaneous fluids, I can handle it so they never miss a dose.
Litter box deep cleaning. Leave out your preferred litter and I’ll take care of the rest.
Pet taxi. I can take your pet to daycare, grooming, or non emergency vet visits with same day pickup and drop off.
Your pet’s safety matters a lot to me. I’m pet first aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross, and I’m fully insured through Pet Care Insurance. Before any visits begin, I collect your vet’s information. If something comes up, I’ll do my best to reach you right away, and if I can’t, I’ll make the decisions needed to protect your pet’s health and safety.
I know it’s hard to leave your pets, so I keep you in the loop. I use a scheduling app called Time To Pet, which gives you your own client dashboard where you can book, message me, see pricing estimates, and read a detailed report card after every visit. If the app is ever down, I’m happy to send updates by text or email instead.
Every pet has their own routine and personality, so I always start with a meet and greet. That lets me learn their schedule, their quirks, and what makes them comfortable before I take on any visits. I’m flexible and I’ll work around your schedule and your pet’s needs.
I serve Falmouth, Mashpee, Sandwich, Bourne, Marston Mills, Cotuit, Osterville, parts of Barnstable, Wareham, and Plymouth. If you’re outside those areas, reach out anyway and we can see if we can make it work.
I’d love to meet you and your pets and help you feel at ease while you’re away.

Overnight Stays
Boarding isn't the right fit for every pet. With my overnight stays, your pets stay in their own home, with their own bed and routine, and a caring person there with them all night.
I stay in your home to give your pets extra comfort and companionship. Some like their own space and some want to snuggle, and I go with whatever they prefer. I take care of meals, fresh water, playtime, and litter box scooping, and I'll bring in your mail, water your plants, and make sure your home is secure. I can also give medications, including pills, liquids, insulin injections, and subcutaneous fluids, as an add on.
We start with a meet and greet so I can learn your pet's routine. You'll get a detailed report card after each visit through the Time To Pet app.
I'm pet first aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross and fully insured.
