Our Story. Gunner, a lively and high-energy puppy, was in need of an outlet for his boundless energy. Eric Simpson came to Gunner's rescue when a friend was no longer able to care for him. In an effort to enhance Gunner's socialization skills, Eric decided to enroll him in dog daycare on occasion. The positive transformation was nearly immediate, igniting Eric's deep passion for establishing his own dog daycare and boarding facility.
With unwavering support from his parents, Eric's dream turned into reality in August 2003 when he launched the BarkZone.
