Customer Reviews

Carol has worked with three of my dogs, and the results have been life-changing. One of my dogs was extremely aggressive and territorial, but thanks to Carol’s professional yet budget-friendly training, along with her incredible patience and love for what she does. He’s no longer aggressive at all. I was at the point of having to rehome my dogs, but Carol made it possible for us to keep them and enjoy a much healthier, happier relationship. We’re continuing to work with her to fine-tune a few smaller behaviors, but she has already done an outstanding job guiding us and giving us the tools to continue training at home. If you’re looking for a skilled, compassionate, and reliable pet professional, Carol is the one to call! She’s not just a great trainer. She’s a lifesaver. - Walla Walla, WA - March 2025

Carol helped us so much with 2 of our dogs. First with Bear who is a 1 1/2 year old German Shepard puppy who has a ton of energy and tends to want to play rough sometimes and jump up on people. He also being very protective wasn’t good with people he didn’t know. Even when friends came over, he would go into protection mode when it wasn’t needed. As a result, several friends were scared of him. Carol helped us realize most of that behavior was a fear thing. After Carols training, he is much more calm, doesn’t go into protection mode so quickly when friends are here. We even had her Husband Brian ( who Bear previously barked intensely and growled at) go into the house by himself to put Bear on the leash and walk him outside. He was a perfect angel. A true testament of carols training. - Walla Walla, WA - March 2025

Carol is a very skilled and respectful trainer, very flexible with scheduling and has great pricing. Highly recommend for anyone who needs their dogs trained. - Walla Walla, WA - April 2025

When choosing a dog trainer, professional certifications are a strong indicator of expertise, experience, and commitment to ethical, science-based methods. Widely recognized credentials include the CPDT-KA or CPDT-KSA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, which demonstrate mastery of modern training techniques, canine behavior, and learning theory. The KPA-CTP (Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner) highlights trainers skilled in positive reinforcement and clicker training, while the IAABC Certified Dog Trainer credential, recognized internationally, signals advanced knowledge in behavior modification and problem-solving. Membership or certification through the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) further reflects ongoing education and adherence to ethical standards. Many trainers also pursue specialty certifications in areas such as aggression management, behavior modification, or puppy development to address specific challenges.
