How did you hone your craft?

Although I do a lot or research and reading of educational materials regarding the care of pets, the most education that I receive is the hands on experience of daily interaction with the pets for which I provide care. In addition, I am involved with a K9 Training Program that gives great insight as to how to keep dogs mentally stimulated and happy.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Find out what your pet loves the most and give that to them as often as possible. If they love long walks, games, lots of rubs and lap time, lounging in the sunshine or just sniffing all the neighborhood smells......let them do whatever they love best as often as possible.
