Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a Japanese word meaning “universal life energy”. It is a healing modality that promotes stress reduction and relaxation. It is a very powerful therapy, outwardly very subtle in its application but inwardly quite profound. It works on the deepest levels of consciousness; a horse knows what is needed and will draw energy to the area requiring healing. Energy blocks are released and natural balance is restored. Energy blocks and congestion can occur for a number of reasons. Emotional trauma, illness, injury and stress are just some of the causes.
