As a seasoned animal chiropractor, I bring over four decades of experience in delivering top-notch chiropractic care to pets. I am Dr. Mark D'Amato, a licensed chiropractor with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from the National College of Chiropractic Medicine, which I obtained in 1983. I am certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA), a credential I earned in 1998, enabling me to provide specialized chiropractic care for quadrupeds. My extensive history includes serving on the Board of Veterinary Chiropractic Examiners, where I contributed to assessing the competency of chiropractic professionals in treating animals.

My practice is dedicated to the non-surgical rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries in both large and small animals, including cats and dogs of all sizes. I pride myself on collaborating closely with the local veterinary community, ensuring that your pets receive comprehensive and effective care. My current work at Sarasota Equine Associates and various veterinary offices across Sarasota, Florida, allows me to deliver precise chiropractic adjustments to enhance your pet's skeletal integrity, alignment, and mobility.

With my deep commitment to animal wellness and comprehensive approach, I strive to help each pet achieve optimal health and comfort. If you're ready to provide your furry friend with the expert care they deserve, book my services through PetWorks today!

Customer Reviews

Dr Mark is great - with pets and owners!! Treated my dog's neck and shoulder with ease!! I am from Ohio - if I were in Sarasota, I would be there regularly. Thank you so much! Great experience - and the pet food store next door is great too!

Dr D'Amato is actually one of the finest Vet chiropractic physicians my wife and I have ever met. Our three and one half year old dog Toby Shih Tzu / Papillon was in need of some serious help due to a spinal issue. We were referred by a veterinarian to a veterinary neurologist because the Xray they took showed herniated discs and calcification. His discs would not show a herniation on an x ray. The end result with a neurologist would likely have been an MRI followed up by spinal surgery without a guaranteed outcome. Dr. D'Amato has Toby on his way to recovery without surgical intervention. He really formed a relationship with our puppy, as well as with my wife and I for which we are very grateful.

Our newly adopted boxer mix had a severely humped lower back, pigeon toed back legs, and a limp. We took him to Dr. D'Amato, on the first visit the difference was amazing, the second beyond words! I would give him ten stars if I could. Great with animals, very caring. Thanks Doc!

5 Stars aren't enough! Dr. D'Amato is so friendly and his expertise was obvious. He truly cares about the health and welfare of animals. He took time to listen, ask questions and make friends with Reagan, my Havanese, before he examined /treated him. He's Reagan's new BFF! Thank you, Dr. D'Amato!

- Becky C

Dr. Mark has treated my 1,600 lb. Percheron draft horse and my two Labrador Retrievers for the past 10 years...every time one of them gets adjusted, they immediately feel relief and very happy - and their 'health vibrance' improves considerably. He has a marvelous connection with all critters - four & two-leggers too! Thanks for all the good care - Kate D. - along with Titan, Halle & BeBe

- Kate D

You're lucky to have found Dr. Mark D’Amato! I cannot say good enough things about Mark. He is a God send. Make an appointment today for you and/or your beloved pet!
