Welcome! My name is Terri, the founder of Angelic Canines Dog Training! I was the owner/operator of an Interior Design business for 19 years. In 1992 my son was born with autism and a neuro-muscular disease. I quit traveling with my business to take care of my son. He had multiple therapy sessions daily as well as surgeries and lengthy hospital stays, we were both very isolated. We found great solace in our dogs and horses and as my son began to physically heal, riding horses helped him tremendously with his balance and coordination problems. I began research on animal-assisted therapy and decided to enroll in a training program. I am the lead trainer for Moorpark/Simi Valley Love On A Leash Animal Assisted Therapy. I also train assistance and service dogs for the disabled providing assistance for individuals in their homes and in public settings. The dogs assist people with anything from MS for balance & mobility to Psychiatric Dogs for PTSD, the Hearing Impaired, Autism, and Diabetes Alert Dogs. There are no waiting lists for dogs and it's affordable.
