Amber's Animal Massage - Warren, RI
Our pets give us undying love and devotion as members of our family. They deserve to feel as healthy and as happy as possible. Animal massage is the perfect way to ensure your beloved fur baby is feeling his or her best. As a complement to veterinary care, massage can help with the following:
- Decrease soreness, stiffness and pain
- Decrease muscle tension and spasms
- Decrease stress
- Increase cardiovascular and lymphatic circulation
- Increase flexibility and range of motion
- Enhance the health of all the body's systems
- Help to tonify tissue
- Elongate and soften connective tissue
Massage is particularly appropriate for dogs who suffer from anxiety. Regular visits have shown to decrease reactivity. It is also a great compliment with veterinary medicine for soft tissue injuries. It can reduce healing time and get your pup back into action that much sooner.
How does it work?
Amber will come to your home for 30-60 minutes to work with your dog. Home visits have shown to greatly reduce stress and make massage feel more like a fun visit with a friend. Sometimes your pet may not feel like being touched, in which Amber is certified as a Reiki level I practitioner to ensure a treatment is provided, no matter the mood. Your pet is welcome to move around as much as he or she wants during a treatment. You are welcome to stay and watch, or leave the room. Please note if your pet is energetic and healthy, a walk is recommended prior to each visit.
Amber's Rates are as follows:
$40 for 30 minutes
$50 for 45 minutes
$60 for 60 minutes
*Packages with reduced rates are available for existing clients
*Please note a travel fee may apply to those outside of 10 miles.

I was a veterinary technician for over four years. I managed the mobile services for the company and excelled in animal handling. Approaching timid animals is a specialty of mine. I have been told the energy in the room changes when I am practicing massage.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Go nice and slow, and be patient. Our body language gets lost in translation with animals often.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
After college I was a dude wrangler for 5 years. I traveled around the country working at different guest ranches, helping with the care of the horses and taking guests on horseback rides.
