Amanda‘s Road Trip and Flight Pet Transport - Nationwide

Based in Silver Spring, Maryland. I work at a start up full time in operations management (so logistics are kind of my thing), but there is a whole lot more to me than that! I have 10 years experience in pet transport, pet sitting, dog walking, and have gigged on just about any pet service or delivery app you can think of!
I am super excited for the opportunity to travel more while getting your precious cargo (pet or package) safely from here to there! Scroll down for details/terms if you are looking for a flight nanny, too!
Plenty of experience transporting cats and dogs, but my favorite transport experiences so far have been bunnies and goats!!! Do you have a unique animal that needs transporting? I would love love love to make it happen for you!!!
What you get with a ride with me:
•can accommodate most reasonable special requests - just ask!
•happy go let your pet ride in your crate or my crate (pretty spacious!) or lounging in the car - I have pet blankets pillows for comfort, as well as pet seatbelts for safety!
•For flights, you get airfare covered, and everything your pet needs to stay comfortable throughout the journey.
•The use of my extra small, small, medium, and large collars to use for the trip in case you are having a transport from a breeder or agency that does not provide.
•Treats + have some food (regular, special diet, puppy food, kitten food)
•Lots of. potty and play breaks on our journey.
•Road trip litter box (for the cats)
•your pet will likely end up riding solo, but in the event i have multiple bookings will only ever share a ride with at most one other pet at a time - if you prefer solo rides please let me know! I am happy to accommodate this request as a guaranteed solo ride for a very small fee
•TOYS! I have so many cat and dog toys to keep your pet happy and occupied for the ride
•photos at pick up tío verify I am getting the right pet from your origin location, as well as lots of photos and videos along the way.

For flight nanny services:
- my rate is based on the current costs of flights plus the best airline options pet fees as well as my time - some airlines charge the pet fee each way, and some charge it per leg/layover. I will research all of this for you
- upon booking I only require the cost of the flight and pet fee to the airline up front as a deposit, and will book the flight at the time of your booking to guarantee a spot for your pet on the flight (some airlines have a maximum number of pets allowed in cabin per flight across all passengers).
- the remaining amount will be due upon delivery
- I will keep you updated if there are any delays or issues with transport from the airline and any changes in real time
- flight nanny services assume pick up/delivery at the airport, but I am happy to arrange other options if possible (I can pick up and deliver in the DC metro area within a reasonable distance of Maryland), or Uber/Lyft or rent a car for me to deliver to you and request reimbursement if outside my home area.

Pricing Packages
For trips both originating and ending within 50 miles of Washington DC. Up to 2 pets included. Additional pets $50 each up to 4 pets total.
Fly your pet furrst class (okay… economy… but they’ll get royal treatment!)
I will find the best flight option for your fur baby as long as they are of age to fly, and in good health with all required paperwork/vaccines. Pet must be able to fit in an in-cabin approved carrier (mine or yours) measuring less than 18”x11”x11” - I only fly with soft sided carriers as hard sided carriers are required to be even smaller due to the in flight under seat restrictions. I will also bring toys, potty pads, and approved food/treats provided by you or me.

I try to find the best flight that minimizes stress on your pet and has layovers in airports that are known to have pet relief areas. Flight times chosen allow for time to return, and enough time to make connections safely with your pet, and will not conflict with other transports already arranged for other clients.

Safe, reliable nationwide pet transportation by road. Shared transport starts at $0.90/mile for trips where your pet travels alongside 1–2 other pets with compatible routes. Solo/VIP transport is available for $1.25/mile for pets who require exclusive transportation.
• Shared Transport: $0.90/mile (2–3 pets total) – $200 minimum
• Solo/VIP Transport: $1.25/mile – $350 minimum
