Alpha K9 Training Services - Private Dog Trainer - Los Angeles, CA
2 Week Obedience Boot Camp:
If you want a fully off-leash E-Collar trained dog who comes every time you call, stays politely on Place command when guests come over, doesn't bark or lunge or react to other dogs on walks, is generally more respectful, and is the canine companion you always wanted? Alpha K9's 2-Week Obedience boot-camp is the program for you. Let us do the hard work so you can just keep it up! This two-week program is followed up by two 90 minute sessions, to transfer all of the training to you.
Leash Manners Training:
If your dog is pulling on a leash, reactive to other dogs, or making your walk stressful and unsafe, I can help you! This is strongly recommended before starting a walking program with me.
Walks:
55-minute, structured, fast-paced walks for your mild to high-energy dog. Your dog will heel at my side, no pulling or dog/people reactivity allowed! Pick-up/Drop-off included, of course.
Boarding:
Going out of town? Need someplace structured to leave your dog, where you know he/ she will get plenty of exercise, monitored social time (if appropriate), and, most importantly, will be safe? Alpha K9 Boarding was created specifically to meet the needs of owners whose dogs require a little more than the average doggy boarding. Every dog is welcome. Please contact and book my private dog training services on Petworks. Thank You.

Recommended Certifications for Dog Trainers
When choosing a dog trainer, professional certifications are a strong indicator of expertise, experience, and commitment to ethical, science-based methods. Widely recognized credentials include the CPDT-KA or CPDT-KSA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, which demonstrate mastery of modern training techniques, canine behavior, and learning theory. The KPA-CTP (Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner) highlights trainers skilled in positive reinforcement and clicker training, while the IAABC Certified Dog Trainer credential, recognized internationally, signals advanced knowledge in behavior modification and problem-solving. Membership or certification through the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) further reflects ongoing education and adherence to ethical standards. Many trainers also pursue specialty certifications in areas such as aggression management, behavior modification, or puppy development to address specific challenges.
For pet parents, choosing a certified trainer like Sean Sevitski, ensures that your dog’s training is grounded in science, safety, and compassion. Asking about a trainer’s credentials is one of the best ways to make a confident, informed choice.
