Kathleen is an animal assisted therapist, holistic healer and animal Reiki practitioner who has worked in the field for over 25 years with all creatures great and small. She founder and managed Gardening Angels, Inc. a local non profit that provides animal assisted therapy to children and adults as well as animals with disabilities for 15 years. She was awarded the Outstanding Young Coloradoan in 2003 for her work with disabled children. Due to her own disabilities (scoliosis and degenerative disc disease) and her love of all creatures great and small she found Gaia's Farm and Gardens, LLC. a holistic healing farm and permaculture teaching school, Gaia's Grow School for people and pets seeking healing of body, mind and spirit. Gaia's Farm and Gardens, LLC. also operates a farm stay bed and breakfast where people can come to get animal assisted therapy and others forms of alternative healing and holistic healing and yes it is pet friendly.
