Alexia Miller | Dog Training Specialist - Bedford, NH
Build better communication, stronger skills, and a more enjoyable life with your dog.
I’m Alexia Miller, a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant with more than 20 years of professional experience helping dogs and their families. My approach emphasizes positive reinforcement, practical solutions, and training tailored to your dog’s needs, your goals, and your everyday routine.
I help with puppy foundations, house training, chewing, jumping, leash pulling, recall, basic and advanced manners, and settling calmly at home. I also work with families addressing reactivity, fear, resource guarding, separation anxiety, and conflict between household dogs.
Private training provides individualized guidance and clear steps to practice between lessons. My goal is to help you understand your dog’s behavior, recognize progress, and feel confident applying what you learn.
Additional areas of instruction include confidence building, enrichment, trick training, AKC Canine Good Citizen preparation, therapy dog preparation, and individualized service dog training. As a Pet Tech First Aid & CPR Instructor, I also teach pet parents and pet professionals essential emergency care skills.
My credentials include CPDT-KA, CDBC, IAABC-ADT, VSPDT, CSAT, and CTDI. I am also an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and am Fear Free Certified.
Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy or working through a challenging behavior, I offer compassionate support and realistic training goals. Contact me to discuss your dog’s needs and available in-person training options.

The KPA-CTP (Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner) highlights trainers skilled in positive reinforcement and clicker training, while the IAABC Certified Dog Trainer credential, recognized internationally, signals advanced knowledge in behavior modification and problem-solving. Membership or certification through the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) further reflects ongoing education and adherence to ethical standards.
