Hello! My name is Amanda and I've been training dogs for over 11 years. I'm CPDT-KA and AKC CGC certified, and also a member of the APDT. My labs Rocky and Apollo are on the front page of the site, along with Ziji, the border collie, who frequently stays with me & has been through many classes. I also have a yorkie named Daphne and Bernedoodle named Nebula.
I generally use clicker training and would love to work with you and your dog! No harsh methods used!
I specialize in loose leash walking and leave it, but can help your dog unlock their potential in many ways! I have also done search and therapy dog work.
Group classes located at the Stow Pet Supplies Plus. In-home private classes also available. Puppy through therapy dog training. Agility, trick, and outdoor distraction classes also available.

We've been going there for about 6 months now for obedience training. Amanda is so kind and patient with our puppy. We've really enjoyed the opportunity to get AKC certified right during class when we've met the behavioral milestones, and are looking forward to completing our Canine Good Citizen.

With regards to training—she was very sweet with our dog and provided him with the space and opportunity to learn new and valuable skills. Amanda has taken her from unable to walk in public or go running on trails to becoming able to walk around a store and except treats from strangers. Our dog is a work in progress, but we are grateful for her growth with Amanda’s help.

If you are looking for someone to work one on one with you on the problems you are having with your dog, she's the one to go too!! You can truly see she loves these animals, it shows during her training.
- Mercedes SAmanda was amazing! My pup went from getting so anxious around other dogs he would throw up to being able to comfortably approach and sniff another dog in a single session. She taught me everything I need to know to continue helping me ease my dogs anxiety with other dogs. Her rates are very fair, and she didn’t try to rope me into any extra sessions we didn’t need. I’d absolutely recommend Amanda to anyone!
