Smithbridge Stable - 1081 Curtis Corner Road, SouthKingstown
Smithbridge Stable is located at 1081 Curtis Corner Road in South Kingstown (village of Wakefield), Rhode Island. This beautiful farm offers rough, pasture, and full board ($250, $550 & $600 respectively as of July 28, 2020) on 29 acres; most of the grassy turnouts have run-in sheds as pasture board is emphasized. All turnouts have water 24/7/365. All horses are fed twice a day in the sunshine, rain, or snow with either Poulin grains or grain supplied by a horse's owner, and with excellent quality hay; some owners also supply their own hay. There are three arenas: a large and a small-footed with sand, and a large grass-covered one. Lockers are available in the tack barn. A double exterior tie-up area is available for summer-time baths and year-round tacking up; the main barn may also be used for tacking up. The Stable has its own farrier, equine dentist, and the vet or you may elect to use your own. Horses are wormed according to a stable schedule. English and Western riding lessons are available, either on your own horse or one of the school horses. Safety and cleanliness are priorities #1 and #2.
