There is nothing like life with dogs, cats, birds and all which you might call “pet”. They make us laugh and weave a tight knot around our hearts. With a sideways glance or tail wag, whine or meow they make us melt. All too soon, they leave us and the pain is as intense as loosing our best friend. They are with us such a short time, these fur, feather or scale-clad messengers of love and devotion. We hold on to the memories of their crazy personality and retell the stories again and again. Scratch art allows me to express my joy in the life around me. It builds my sprit as I work each picture from a nothingness of black. The work comes alive with each dot and scratch I place on the board. Passion is a blessing
