Better Pet Portraits by Sarah Cameron - Phoenix, AZ - Nationwide
I have done pet portraits in my spare time for many years, favoring chalk and oil pastels. I was taught to use them in art classes growing up, and more so while earning my Bachelor's in Fine Arts. Over the past year, I transitioned to the digital medium. I use computers for work and freelance all the time, so one day it finally dawned on me to change the way I do portraits, which is incredibly time-consuming and often difficult to fit into my schedule as a Mom with a full-time job. As soon as I began experimenting in Photoshop, something just clicked. I have always gone for a realistic style while trying to use a lot of colors and play with lights and shadows at the same time.
Starting with a photo, the software allows me to do all those things, and to bring out the expression of the subject in a romantic, humanized way without losing that element of realism. If you would like to inquire, send me your pet's photo to have a portrait created, or have any questions, please message me.
*High resolution, good quality photos are the best base for creating an amazing portrait of your pet.*
