Christine St. George - Reiki for Animals - Nationwide
Hello! I'm Christine, the owner of Springfield Reiki and a Certified Reiki Master.
I provide personalized distance Reiki sessions for people and animals, helping clients experience greater relaxation, balance, and overall well-being from the comfort of home.
I grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and currently live in Springfield, Missouri.
MY JOURNEY TO REIKI:
My journey with Reiki began in my mid-twenties, when I was told I would likely have to live with chronic pain and rely on medication for the rest of my life.
That wasn't the future I wanted, so I began exploring natural ways to support my health and well-being.
That journey eventually led me to Reiki.
Reiki became an important part of my personal wellness journey and had a profound impact on how I felt physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I became healthier, happier, and better able to enjoy everyday life.
My experience with Reiki inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others discover this gentle and deeply relaxing practice for themselves.
Since beginning my Reiki journey, I've completed hundreds of hours of professional Reiki training and studied advanced energy healing techniques, including working with the aura, chakras, and meridians.
Today, I have the privilege of working with hundreds of people and animals across the United States and around the world, and every Reiki session I provide is personalized to the individual receiving it.
CLIENT REVIEW:
"This has been a tremendous help for my senior dog, who is 12. Two days after his sessions, he acts like a puppy with more energy, appetite, and less anxiety. If you are looking for a Reiki practitioner, Christine will not disappoint you. She is a true healer." - Maria
While Reiki is not a replacement for veterinarian care, it can be a wonderful complementary wellness practice that supports the animals natural ability to rest and restore.

SCHEDULING
ENABLED
Your pet doesn't have to travel to receive the calming benefits of Reiki. In fact, many animals are more relaxed in their own familiar surroundings, making distance Reiki an excellent option for pets of all ages.
Your pet will receive a full 30-minutes of devoted energy work.
✨Before the Session
Fill out the intake form with your pet's name, age, species, and anything you would like me to know. You may also share a simple intention for the session.
Keep the routine familiar. There is no need to change meals, walks, sleep, or medications. A normal routine can help your pet feel safe and comfortable.
If possible, give your pet access to a favorite bed, blanket, room, crate, perch, or hiding place. Let your pet choose where to be.
Let go of expectations. Your pet may rest deeply, become affectionate, change positions, leave the room, or show no obvious reaction. All of these responses are okay.
✨After the Session
Make fresh water available and allow your pet to rest if they choose. Keep their environment calm and follow their normal feeding, medication, exercise, and care routine.
Observe without over analyzing. You might notice extra sleep, calm behavior, affection, thirst, playfulness, or a subtle shift in mood. You may also notice nothing unusual. Simply observe your pet with patience over the next day or two.
After the session, I will share any observations or impressions from the Reiki treatment. You are welcome to tell me what you noticed and ask questions about your pet's experience.
✨Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be on the computer or phone?
No. I prefer not to be on electronic devices during sessions so that I can give my full attention to your pet's treatment.
Does my pet need to be awake?
No. Many pets naturally sleep during their session, while others continue playing or resting. Reiki can be received regardless of what your pet is doing.
Do I need to stay with my pet?
No. Your pet simply needs to be in a safe, familiar environment. You may stay with them if you'd like, but it isn't required.
How many sessions will my pet need?
Some pets experience noticeable relaxation after one session, while others with ongoing concerns may benefit from a series of sessions. Recommendations are always based on your pet's individual circumstances.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Customer Reviews
I met Christine just before I moved to another city five months ago but since the first time I knew she was the real deal. She just not only do reiki on you, she looks at your energy field and your energy pathways. She made sure that your energy field is organized without holes that can lead to your own energy escaping or other people's energy entering your field. She open your chakras and ensure your energy pathways are working properly. I have had reiki sessions before but Christine is one of the best. Since I moved I had a few distance reiki sessions for me and two of my sisters who live overseas in Peru. After a session, I feel calmer and with more energy. She also does pet reiki and this have been a tremendous help for my senior dog who is 12. Two days after his sessions and he acts like a puppy with more energy, appetite and less anxiety. If you are looking for a reiki practitioner that gives you more than just a reiki session Christine will not disappoint you. She is a true healer.

What Christine Can Help With
Christine works with pets across a wide range of physical and emotional challenges. Anxiety, fearfulness, and stress-related behaviors are among the most common reasons pet parents seek out a certified healer — and gentle energy work can produce meaningful, lasting calm even in highly reactive or emotionally overwhelmed animals. For aging pets managing chronic pain, reduced vitality, or the challenges of illness, reiki offers a non-invasive way to support comfort and quality of life alongside traditional veterinary care.
Christine also works with rescue animals and recently rehomed pets — helping them release emotional imprints from difficult past experiences and settle more fully into their new environment. For pets recovering from surgery or injury, reiki can complement the rehabilitation process by supporting the body's natural healing response and reducing stress during recovery. And for families navigating end-of-life transitions, Christine provides gentle, compassionate support — offering comfort and energetic balance for both the animal and the people who love them.
