Love is at the Heart of All We Do

Reiki is a Japanese word that translates into "spiritual" or "life force" (rei) "energy" (ki). The Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki, created by Kathleen Prasad, is an empathic, meditation-based healing modality that balances the flow of life force energy to support your companion’s behavioral, emotional, and physical needs, while holding space for your pain and joy.

The intention is to create a gentle space of gratitude and compassion in which you and your beloved companion can thrive, while empowering your unique bond from a place of energetic connection! Our work brings anxious and fearful pets peace and ease, helps recovering animals find confidence, and supports senior animals living with dis-ease, from inflammation through terminal illness.

Creating a space of balance and harmony allows your pet a respite from the mental trappings of discomfort, fear and confusion to assist their physical, mental, and emotional healing. Once the body and mind relax, healing energy can flow from a place of peace. When you participate as a partner, you can better provide ongoing support within your home.

The Empowered Companion provides heart-led services including: Animal Reiki Meditation, Compassionate Care Pet Sitting, Collaborative Feline Training and End of Life Doula Services.

We start each visit with human reiki session(s) to gently invite your companion to join, trust, and absorb healing reiki energy before entering animal reiki meditation as a family. One Empowered Companions Reiki Session - Human(s) and Animal(s)

For animal(s) AND up to two companions: includes a 10-15 minute reiki session for each human companion AND 30-45 minutes of Animal Reiki Mediation as a family. Expect 75-90 minutes in home per session. **For more than two human companions, add $15 and 15 minutes per person. In-person or distant.

When we heal ourselves, we heal our world. Self-healing can help maintain harmonious energy in the household for you and your pets. One in-person or Distant Human Reiki session in your home. Expect 75 minutes for total time in home. Longer sessions available by request and subject to extended pricing.

House Clearing

$ 125.00 Per Visit

Clear your home of negative energy, limiting beliefs, unproductive programming, and other roadblocks to supporting your family's best and highest good. Great for move-ins, move-outs, and for clearing the remnants of trauma and heavy emotions. Pricing starts at $100 and is dependent on the time needed in your home. How did you hone your craft?

I began my Animal Reiki journey working with myself and other humans in 2019. After volunteering and then working in an animal shelter, I felt called to bring the harmony, peace, and balance of reiki to animals, and to their companions and caregivers. After obtaining certification in the Let Animals Lead Method of Animal Reiki, I spent eight months providing animal reiki on a volunteer basis to pet sitting clients and the animals of friends and family. After having completed over 100 animal reiki meditation sessions, I felt confident that I could handle a variety of situations and truly understand the impact of my presence on animals and their companions.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Animals are so entuned to the energy we bring home to them. Approach the animals in your home with love and compassion. Take solace in their absolute perfection as beings who live in unconditional love, no matter the situation you are facing.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
