As a lifelong animal lover, I came to animal training accidentally after taking in an adolescent feral mutt ("Addie") in West Oakland, Ca. I was lucky that my veterinarian referred me to a "clicker trainer extraordinaire" and my life would forever be changed - as would "Addie"s - for the better. Maybe it is because of my work with Addie, but fearful dogs just speak to me in a way others don't, and I strive to help them, and their humans, to the best of my ability. The human world can be a very scary place for an under-socialized canine, let alone if they have experienced any trauma. Since covid, there are a *lot* of socially awkward dogs out there. Let's get to work helping them!
