Because the healing energy of love does not know distance, we don't need to be physically in the same space. In fact, distant Reiki is preferred among many animals because they do not have to travel or meet a new person.
๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง: Tell your companion let your companion know they will be invited to share in Reiki Meditation and that they are so loved. There is nothing else you need to do.
๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง: Annie begins a heart-centered meditation, focusing her love & presence in the Reiki One Space, where we are all connected by universal energy. She will invite your companion to join in the meditation. Annie will stay with them as long as they like. Usually, this is about 30 - 40 minutes. It is great if your animal can be resting at this time, but if they need to continue their routine, they will still receive the healing benefits of the session. You do not need to be present for the session. If you are, try and keep their environment relaxing and calm. You may notice your companion moving around, resting, sleeping, stretching, yawning, licking their lips, wanting a sip of water, shaking (like they are shaking off water, not trembling), or needing to go to the bathroom. These are all very normal elements of energy moving through the body.

Your job is to be supportive & attentive enough to notice. Annie will contact you via email to share any insights or thoughts and to check in our your companion within 24 hours.

For many animals, distant sessions are wonderful. Physical presence does not become a healing obstacle. There are no trips in the car, settling in a potentially stressful new environment with a new person, or disruption to their routine. Your friend can stay comfortable in the space they already know best - home!
If an animal is transitioning in their soul journey, or recovering from illness/surgery, we don't need to disrupt their comfort or ask them to expend extra energy dealing with moving around or a new person in their space. This allows us to honor them and respect their needs.

You will receive a beautiful resource, the Level One Animal Reiki in the Let Animals Leadยฎ Method Shoden Manual. This invaluable book is packed with over 250 pages of reflections, techniques, stories, & history of Reiki and the Let Animals Lead Methodยฎ. You will return to it again & again!
๐พ What is the time commitment?
The course is roughly 7 weeks and includes weekly homework. We will meet in-person and online. Rather than cramming course into a long weekend, we will spend time experiencing the concepts and Reiki with Animals.
๐พ Students must live within a 1.5 hours radius of Hanover, Pennsylvania to enroll in this special program.
๐พ Level II & III Courses are offered privately to students who have completed Level I with Annie.
