Capture your pet's heart and soul in a detailed and life-like scratchboard drawing by Master Scratchboard Artist Cathy Sheeter. Cathy is a full time artist who specializes exclusively in pets and wildlife. She creates her art in the unique art form of scratchboard. Scratchboard is a medium where dark ink is scratched away to reveal a layer of white clay beneath. Works can also be colored with transparent inks. The work is varnished upon completion to preserve it. Cathy's work is extremely detailed and some people believe it looks photographic, but it is 100% drawn by hand!
5"x7" head/shoulders portrait start at $750, which includes a free photo session with a deposit on a portrait, if you live less than 20 miles from me.
