Behavioral Dog Training - Techniques for Success - Nationwide
I help people with their puppies and dogs with behavioral dog training.
It isn't easy to take on a rescue dog as they basically need someone to help them through the adjustment phases sometimes known as the 3-3-3 rule: 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months. The behavioral dog training can help adjust a dog who has either gone through trauma or missed out on education at an early age to the end of them now giving you the feedback, the unwanted behaviors, that you really want eliminated. I can help you with a program that includes getting your pup to learn where to go to the bathroom, reactivity to strangers and other pets as well as separation anxiety when you leave.
Other behaviors such as jumping, barking, chewing and unable to present self control in your day to day life are also some of the things I can help you and your best friend with.
Normalizing how a dog is severely reacting to something is not giving it a favor. You are setting it up for a loss by the fact that it doesn't know the house rules because no one kept up the training.
Training happens every day of its life. You don't finish a program and then call it done. Dogs learn differently and you have to be one step ahead of them all of the time in order to bring harmony and understanding.
