It All Starts With The Bowl - Canine Nutritionist - Nationwide by Amanda Smith
This is your chance to discuss your concerns and your dog's needs, review your dog's sensitivity reports, and discuss how I can best support you both. I'm here to guide you to make decisions based on reports and previous history so you don't feel lost and alone in the process.
Have you been making your dog’s food at home but aren’t sure if the recipe is truly complete and balanced? This service is designed for dog guardians who want the peace of mind of knowing their homemade meals are meeting their dog’s nutritional needs.
With this service, I will run your current recipe through a professional nutrition analysis program called Animal Diet Formulator. This allows me to evaluate the recipe for key nutrients and identify anything that may be missing or out of balance.
Once the analysis is complete, I’ll walk you through the results and explain exactly what nutrients may need to be adjusted. From there, we will work together to refine and balance the recipe so it properly supports your dog’s health.
My goal is to make sure the final recipe works for you and your dog — meaning the ingredients are realistic for you to source, practical for you to prepare, and foods your dog will actually enjoy eating.
At the end of the process, you’ll have a recipe you can feel confident about — one that provides the complete and balanced nutrition your dog needs to thrive
Are you tired of your dog struggling through the same terrible allergy season year after year? Constant itching, paw licking, ear infections, and skin flare-ups can be incredibly frustrating for both dogs and their guardians.
The 3-Month Canine Gut Reset Program is designed to get to the root cause of your dog’s symptoms rather than simply managing them.
During this program, we take a deeper, functional approach to your dog’s health by looking at what is happening inside the gut, where roughly 70–80% of the immune system lives. When the gut microbiome becomes imbalanced, it can manifest as chronic skin issues, allergies, digestive upset, and inflammation.
As part of this program, we will run two important tests to give us a clear starting point:
• Gut Microbiome Testing – to understand the balance of bacteria in your dog’s gut and identify imbalances that may be contributing to inflammation and immune dysfunction.
• Food & Environmental Sensitivity Testing – to identify potential triggers that may be contributing to your dog’s allergy symptoms.
These tests provide valuable insights so we are not guessing — we are building a plan based on real data.
Over the course of the three months, we will work together to:
• Gradually remove inflammatory foods that may be aggravating the immune system
• Introduce anti-inflammatory, nutrient-dense foods that support healing
• Rebuild and support the gut microbiome
• Strengthen the gut lining and digestive function
• Address lifestyle factors that impact gut health, including stress inside and outside the home
Gut health is influenced by more than just food, which is why we take a whole-dog, whole-environment approach.
Throughout the entire 3-month program, you will have ongoing guidance and support so you never feel like you are navigating this journey alone. My goal is to help you understand your dog’s body, reduce flare-ups, and build a long-term nutrition and lifestyle plan that supports lasting health.
Because when we support the gut, we support the entire dog from the inside out.
Not sure what type of support your dog needs? This Intro Canine Gut Support Consultation is a great place to start.
If your dog is dealing with issues like seasonal allergies, itchy skin, red or irritated ears, constant licking, or chronic diarrhea, it can be difficult to know where to begin or what to feed. This consultation is designed to give you clarity and guidance on the best next steps for your dog’s health.
During our conversation, we’ll go over your dog’s current symptoms, diet, health history, and any concerns you may have. From there, I’ll help identify potential root causes and provide guidance on how you can start supporting your dog’s gut and overall health.
This session is also a great opportunity for you to lay out your concerns, ask questions, and gain professional insight so you can feel more confident about how to move forward.
If you decide to continue working with me after this consultation, $100 from this session will be applied toward the next service you choose, once we determine which program is the best fit for you and your dog.
My goal is to help you feel supported and give you a clear direction so you can start helping your dog feel better.
