Overwhelmed, frustrated, and confused? Sometimes it's exhausting trying to figure out your dog's itchy skin or chronic diarrhea, well that's where I come in.

I am a functional canine nutritionist who supports dog guardians in identifying and addressing the root causes of their dog’s health concerns — especially those connected to the gut. Many dogs struggle with chronic itchy skin, ear irritation, paw licking, seasonal allergies, or ongoing digestive issues like chronic diarrhea, and it can feel incredibly frustrating trying to figure out what is actually causing the problem.

My work focuses on the canine gut microbiome, which is where nearly 70–80% of a dog’s immune system lives. When the gut is out of balance, it can show up in many different ways throughout the body. By supporting and restoring gut health, we can often calm inflammation and help dogs feel better from the inside out.

I am certified in the canine gut microbiome, and helping dogs through a gut-first approach is my specialty. I work closely with canine guardians to better understand what may be contributing to their dog’s symptoms and help guide them toward practical, supportive changes that can make a real difference.

In some cases, testing can be a helpful tool. I use accessible, over-the-counter testing options that can provide valuable insight into your dog’s gut health and possible food or environmental sensitivities without being overly expensive. However, testing is never required. It is simply one tool in our toolbox, and many dogs can still make meaningful progress through thoughtful nutrition and lifestyle adjustments.

Once we understand your dog’s needs, I help develop custom, complete, and balanced recipes designed to support their individual health. These recipes focus on whole, nourishing foods that help rebuild the gut, reduce inflammation, and support long-term wellness. Even if your dog isn’t currently experiencing major gut issues, I also create personalized recipes for guardians who want to feed fresh foods and help their dogs thrive.
If you’re interested in feeding whole, fresh foods but feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin, you are not alone. Many dog guardians feel exhausted trying to navigate conflicting information about what is best for their dog.

That’s where I come in.

When we work together, we collaborate step-by-step so you feel supported and confident. We review ingredient lists, discuss sourcing options, and make thoughtful substitutions when needed so the plan fits both your dog’s needs and your lifestyle.
My goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout the process. Supporting a dog with chronic symptoms can feel overwhelming, and no guardian should feel like they have to figure it out alone.

I truly believe that health begins in the bowl. When we nourish our dogs with the wholesome foods their bodies were designed to eat, we can help support their gut, strengthen their immune system, and improve their overall quality of life.
If this resonates with you, I would be honored to support you and your dog on this journey toward better gut health and lasting wellness.

Recipe Review & Balancing Service
$ 275.00 Per 60 minutes book

Have you been making your dog’s food at home but aren’t sure if the recipe is truly complete and balanced? This service is designed for dog guardians who want the peace of mind of knowing their homemade meals are meeting their dog’s nutritional needs.
With this service, I will run your current recipe through a professional nutrition analysis program called Animal Diet Formulator. This allows me to evaluate the recipe for key nutrients and identify anything that may be missing or out of balance.
Once the analysis is complete, I’ll walk you through the results and explain exactly what nutrients may need to be adjusted. From there, we will work together to refine and balance the recipe so it properly supports your dog’s health.
My goal is to make sure the final recipe works for you and your dog — meaning the ingredients are realistic for you to source, practical for you to prepare, and foods your dog will actually enjoy eating.
At the end of the process, you’ll have a recipe you can feel confident about — one that provides the complete and balanced nutrition your dog needs to thrive

3-Month Canine Gut Reset Program
$ 1800.00 Per Dog book

Are you tired of your dog struggling through the same terrible allergy season year after year? Constant itching, paw licking, ear infections, and skin flare-ups can be incredibly frustrating for both dogs and their guardians.
The 3-Month Canine Gut Reset Program is designed to get to the root cause of your dog’s symptoms rather than simply managing them.
During this program, we take a deeper, functional approach to your dog’s health by looking at what is happening inside the gut, where roughly 70–80% of the immune system lives. When the gut microbiome becomes imbalanced, it can manifest as chronic skin issues, allergies, digestive upset, and inflammation.
As part of this program, we will run two important tests to give us a clear starting point:
• Gut Microbiome Testing – to understand the balance of bacteria in your dog’s gut and identify imbalances that may be contributing to inflammation and immune dysfunction.
• Food & Environmental Sensitivity Testing – to identify potential triggers that may be contributing to your dog’s allergy symptoms.
These tests provide valuable insights so we are not guessing — we are building a plan based on real data.
Over the course of the three months, we will work together to:
• Gradually remove inflammatory foods that may be aggravating the immune system
• Introduce anti-inflammatory, nutrient-dense foods that support healing
• Rebuild and support the gut microbiome
• Strengthen the gut lining and digestive function
• Address lifestyle factors that impact gut health, including stress inside and outside the home
Gut health is influenced by more than just food, which is why we take a whole-dog, whole-environment approach.
Throughout the entire 3-month program, you will have ongoing guidance and support so you never feel like you are navigating this journey alone. My goal is to help you understand your dog’s body, reduce flare-ups, and build a long-term nutrition and lifestyle plan that supports lasting health.
Because when we support the gut, we support the entire dog from the inside out.

I spoke to Amanda about the issue my dog had been having for a while. My dog would randomly vomit here and there and I could not figure out why. She had recommended to try AnimalBiome, and I am so glad that I did. The capsules have helped my dog so much and the results were immediate. Thank you so much Amanda for the recommendation. I would not have known about it if it wasn't for her! - Pitman, NJ - December 2025
