We had a rescued a Golden Retriever puppy mill Mom who was afraid of the world. We did basic training, Canine Good Citizenship and Therapy Dog training with Buckeye K9 and today our Golden works several days a week as a therapy dog in and around Columbus! - January 2026

I highly recommend Buckeye K9. They have a beautiful facility in Obetz. Definitely check them out. They offer many services and are both professional and knowledgeable - not to mention so friendly!! I used them specifically to find a dog for me that they would train as a service dog to assist with seizures. My experience has been remarkable. I’m so happy with him. My world has opened up now that I have Jake by my side. Thank you Brandi, Lori and the whole team! I appreciate all the hard work that went in to him!

Took our Pittie pup to a 10 day board & train here. They did such a great job with her! Special shout-out to Lori, Mark, and Mindi - for being so welcoming and loving on our girl. We knew she was in great hands and she learned so much. Can’t recommend them enough!

Buckeye K9 did a great job with our girl, Queen. Queen was boarded and trained while we were out of town. They updated us with pictures and the training process pretty much every day. That was so comforting to us. Queens behavior has improved so much. So thankful for these professionals!!

All four of my dogs have been trained by Buckeye K9, going back 8 years up to the present. Professional, knowledgeable staff that are always willing to help work through any issues that might come up. Highly recommend.

Adopted our 120lb GSD when he was 1 year old and he was not socialized properly, so we don't feel comfortable leaving him with just anyone for his safety and that of other dogs. Buckeye K9 is great, staff is great and he is always well taken care of.
