Jacquie Vaux is a watercolorist, specializing in detailed realism. Jacquie captures the personality of every animal she paints, portraying specific animals in detail. Jacquie has specialized in painting animals for the past 46 years. She uses transparent watercolor, taking advantage of the white paper, to bring out the brilliant colors of the animals she paints. Over the years, she has focused on all wildlife, in addition to painting pets. She especially enjoys depicting endangered species. Jacquie paints small birds and owls, as well as large Elephants, Zebra, and big cats, especially Tigers. Jacquie has exhibited at the Governors art show, In Loveland, CO.
