At First Cadet LLC, we are committed to providing safe, reliable, and professional pet transportation services. The following refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.
Booking Deposit
A deposit may be required to secure your pet’s transportation date. Deposits help reserve the transport slot and cover scheduling preparation.
* Deposits are non-refundable within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup date.
* If the booking is canceled more than 48 hours before pickup, the deposit may be refunded or applied to a future transport.
Customer Cancellations
If a customer cancels the transport service:
* More than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund minus any booking or processing fees.
* Within 48 hours of pickup: Deposit is non-refundable due to scheduling commitments.
* Same-day cancellation: No refund may be issued.
Transporter Cancellation
If First Cadet LLC must cancel the transport due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather, safety concerns, or vehicle issues), customers will receive:
* A full refund, or
* The option to reschedule the transport at no additional cost.
Delays
While we aim to meet scheduled pickup and delivery times, delays may occur due to weather, traffic, road conditions, or safety considerations for the pet. These delays do not qualify for refunds, as the pet’s safety is our priority.
Pet Health & Safety
If a pet appears unsafe to transport due to illness, aggression, or lack of proper documentation, First Cadet LLC reserves the right to refuse transport. In such cases, deposits may be non-refundable depending on the situation.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days using the original payment method whenever possible.
