Rude Dog Private K9 Training - Canal Winchester, OH

Member since Jan 2020

Welcome to Rude Dog K9 Training located in Canal Winchester, Ohio! Dogs truly are Man’s Best friend and a huge part of our family. The issue that arises is that dogs are not similar to humans, they are dogs. Dogs like structure and a sense of purpose. They look for a calm and secure pack leader, that is where you come in as a dog owner. Our dogs require more than food, water, and shelter to keep balance in the home. Dogs feel our energy and feed off our excitement along with all other emotions. As pet owners, we need to channel this energy and allow our pets to enjoy a balanced lifestyle consisting of obedience, play, and love, in that order. If you can’t always get up every moment throughout the day to let your dog out, consider adding a dog door to your home and supplying them with many dog toys. German Shepherds may be large dogs with a lot of energy, but if they undergo the right puppy training with a certified dog whisperer, they will learn how to channel their energy every day. As I have learned through many years of training dogs, the rewards of having a well-balanced dog and home are endless. We look forward to hearing from you and meeting your beloved dog! Please contact and book my private dog training services on Petworks. Thank You.

Recommended Certifications for Dog Trainers

When choosing a dog trainer, professional certifications are a strong indicator of expertise, experience, and commitment to ethical, science-based methods. Widely recognized credentials include the CPDT-KA or CPDT-KSA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, which demonstrate mastery of modern training techniques, canine behavior, and learning theory. The KPA-CTP (Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner) highlights trainers skilled in positive reinforcement and clicker training, while the IAABC Certified Dog Trainer credential, recognized internationally, signals advanced knowledge in behavior modification and problem-solving. Membership or certification through the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) further reflects ongoing education and adherence to ethical standards. Many trainers also pursue specialty certifications in areas such as aggression management, behavior modification, or puppy development to address specific challenges.

For pet parents, choosing a certified trainer like Brett Suttle, ensures that your dog’s training is grounded in science, safety, and compassion. Asking about a trainer’s credentials is one of the best ways to make a confident, informed choice.
