Reiki with Deanna - Animal Reiki Care - San Francisco, CA
I provide Reiki for all types of animals, either in-person or from afar. Most of the animals I work with are sick/don't feel well, hurt themselves physically, have arthritis, have a disease or chronic condition, have diarrhea, aren't eating/drinking/pooping/peeing/playing/cuddling, have no/low energy, seem sad, have anxiety/PTSD, aren't sleeping well, aren't acting like their normal selves, or are peeing on couches, beds or places they shouldn't.
I've had the privilege of working with dogs, cats, bunnies, goats, pigs, horses, donkeys, cows, lambs, sheep, chickens, roosters, ducks, and pigeons and have fallen in love with every single one of them. They ALL sense the energy and know it can help them, if they need healing physically, emotionally, or psychologically. I also believe pets summon me(or other practitioners) through their parents, guiding them to the right person so that we can help.
Sometimes vets can only do so much (thank god for vets), and then people don't know what else to do. Energy healing can resolve issues beyond western medicine. Most of the animals who I work with have conditions that vets can't resolve, and often times fur babies have to take medication for some type of illness, disease, or chronic issue. Sometimes pharmaceutical drugs treat the *symptoms*, like putting a bandaid on it, but they don't always cure the underlying problem - so the issue usually comes back or doesn't go away 100%, and animals may suffer from side-effects from the drugs. I believe in a combination of western and alternative medicine.
I've gotten rid of a cat's *chronic* pancreatitis. I was told that once cats have it, it can't be cured, and they have to take medicine for the rest of their lives, which has side-effects that make them feel awful. After doing Reiki for a couple of months, the cat's pancreatitis was gone! Her lab results came back "perfect" with no signs of it, and this was after her mom stopped giving her meds.
I helped reverse lymphoma on a dog's groin, which had crimson red splotches all over. After 2 weeks of treatment, it completely cleared up!
Reiki helps with physical pain and injuries if an animal hurts his/her leg, paw, shoulder, back, is limping, vomiting, has a stomach ache, diarrhea, etc. Some pets who couldn't walk at all and were immobile, miraculously got up after Reiki and started walking around and pooping/peeing like normal!
Emotional and mental issues can also be treated (i.e. stress, anxiety, fear, trauma/PTSD, insomnia) - especially if they were rescued and had bad experiences in the past.
I also helped shrink a 54-year-old woman's brain tumors in HALF (so far) by doing *Remote* Reiki (she's in Littleton, CO and I'm in San Francisco, CA). Her doctors never thought that it was possible and told her she would die in 6-8 months by August 2020. They couldn't do surgery because it was too risky, and chemo nearly killed her when she had sinus cancer in 2019. So she is just getting immunoglobulin shots once a month, in addition to Reiki with me every week or two. So I am determined now to also help animals beat cancer and other diseases!! Or at least prolong their lives - beyond their doctors' prognosis.
I can talk to some animals - I do *not* hear voices though. I know pets understand me, based on the results their parents and I have witnessed post-Reiki. For example, one Golden Doodle changed all of a sudden at age 4. Her mom didn't know why she became so aggressive during walks (people were scared of her), or why she was distant/not affectionate, or why their bond was broken - for TWO YEARS! When I talked with the dog, it turns out she was angry/sad/bitter (towards the mom) because they moved to San Francisco and didn't hang out with anyone anymore, and she blamed it all on her mom. I had to explain Covid and social distancing/lockdown to her because she thought her mom was taking her away from her fur friends, dog bday parties, playdates, the dog park, and everything she loved, and that's why she was "acting out". After our session, she was back to "normal" - she was a good girl during walks, cuddly, snuggly, and their relationship/bond has never been better :-)
I'm extremely passionate about helping animals feel better and nursing them back to health - especially in situations where vets can't do anything else, except prescribe medicine. I've always loved animals more than humans, and I stopped eating meat in 4th grade/1985 (but was a pescatarian). I became 100% vegan in 2017, and I'm an Animal Rights Activist. I wish I could rescue and heal every single animal in the world!
I'm happy to discuss your baby's situation further, answer questions, and go from there :-) I can also send you links to my web site and social media pages! Pricing for in-person sessions varies, depending on your location. A 1-hour (remote) session is normally $165, but I'm offering a discount through PetWorks for $140.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
I believe in a combination of western medicine and alternative healing methods. Vets are amazing and save animals' lives every day, but sometimes they can only do so much. Animals vibrate at a higher frequency level than humans and are extremely receptive to energy healing. From my observation, they can feel, see, hear and smell the energy. Their response to Reiki is all the proof that I need to undoubtedly know energy healing is *real* and works (i.e. walking/running over to me after I call in the energy, sniffing my hands, leaning against me, putting the part of their body that needs healing into my hands or pointing it towards me, moving their ears when I move my hands, closing their eyes, falling asleep/relaxing, licking my hands, being able to walk after a session after injuring themselves prior to Reiki etc). I communicate with animals during Reiki sessions. So they will give you a sign if it's working. Parents know their fur babies best - so you will be able to tell :-) Multiple sessions might be required for diseases/illnesses and physical pain, but sometimes 1 session is enough!! Choose a practitioner who you get a good feeling about - your fur baby and spirit guides will lead you to the right one :-)
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I quit my corporate software sales job (after 18+ lucrative years) because my passion is helping animals. I am vegan and volunteer every week at animal sanctuaries. If Reiki didn’t work, I would not have left the corporate world. I also found out I come from a lineage of Healers and was a Healer in a past lives. I couldn't sell software anymore, after witnessing what Energy Healing could do and receiving feedback from people - I can’t tell you how rewarding and fulfilling it is. I finally know what my purpose in life is - to help animals(and people) beat cancer, other diseases, illnesses and relieve pain/suffering.
