Customer Reviews
Very professional, calm, and she worked wonders with our little dog that loved her and quickly followed her instructions. It was a very good introduction to the "Good manners" training that proved how smart is our puppy. We're thinking about continuing training.
- Alexander BMy daughter was a first time pet owner and knew that she was in over her head and needed immediate help in training her new rescue dog. We're so grateful, on so many levels, to have found Maureen. She not only trains the dog but more importantly, trains the owner. I can tell you the first time Remi met Maureen he was nervous and barking non-stop. After her training, it looked like Remi was going to bite her ankle as she was walking away, just as she predicted would happen. Maureen said training is about reading and understanding Remi and the behaviors he displays. For instance, how Remi would quickly glance at my daughter when a stranger is in eyesight. Maureen also came prepared with yummy treats to reward Remi for his good behavior. Positive training! On Maureen's second visit, Remi was outside on the lawn wagging his tail upon seeing her. Maureen taught us a wonderful game using a cupcake pan and had so much useful information to share with us while leash training Remi. Her last visit, we opened our door and Remi was licking her ankles. I very HIGHLY recommend Maureen for training your beloved pet (and you).
- Lynne TWe had Maureen come by to help us have one of our dogs learn to get through the doggy door. She is scared of doors because of her incident as a puppy before we adopted her. Maureen was very patient and understanding and showed us how to work with our dog's fear of doors. It is an ongoing process... may take months... but Maureen keeps texting me with new ideas on how to train our dog get past her fear. I would recommend her for any kind of dog training.
