Pool’s Pet Transportation - Gettysburg, PA
At Pool’s Pet Transportation we know how precious our travelers are to their moms and dads, so we're making sure both our clients and their fur babies are feeling great during the whole trip.
As a couple running this business, we travel together. So your pets are always being checked on. While one of us are driving, the other is keeping a constant check on the pets. We stop every 3-4 hours to let our passengers out for potty breaks, stretch and update our customers with pictures and all the information they may need.
If you are looking for experienced drivers, safe travel and worry-free delivery, if you need someone who will treat your pet like their own, then Pool’s Pet Transportation is the only way to go. When you book with us, we will immediately provide you with our contact information. We guarantee excellent customer service.
During our trip, we will provide all updates, GPS tracking, and photos.
We will provide plenty of Love and Attention to your pet as if the pet were our own.
❗️❗️Important Information❗️❗️
Bathing Requirement: All pets must be bathed and dried upon pick-up.
Client's Supplies: Clients are encouraged to provide their preferred food, harness & leash, bedding (e.g., blankets, towels), chew toys, and kennel/crating. However, we do offer these supplies as a courtesy to our clients.
Reservations: Most of the time we only transport one animal. But do not always assume that when booking with us. There are times at which we will have up to two possibly three pets in transport. If you would like a solo trip, please ask for that as a VIP experience.
Accommodations: We stay in pet-friendly hotels only when absolutely necessary, meeting our cleaning and accessibility standards. We stay with the animals at all times, taking routine rest breaks at Travel Centers and nice rest areas.
Medication Requirements: If your pet requires medication, we will need a note from the vet with dosage instructions.
❗️❗️❗️Our FAQ❗️❗️❗️
1. How long will the trip take?
A: When you receive a quote from us, we will discuss how long the trip will take Usually anything over 1000 miles will take two days. Please do not expect us to travel over the speed limit as it is not safe for our pets in transit nor is it safe for us. Your pets health is very important to us as well as our own lives.
2. Do you stop for a walk and food?
A: Yes, we stop at least twice a day to walk your pets, provide meals, and ensure their well-being. Pets are not let out during HEAVY rain, blizzards, temperatures above 95°, or sandstorms. Pets are fed based on the schedule provided by the breeder/owner.

A: Absolutely! We'll update you every 3-4 hours with pictures and information about how your pet is doing on the journey. We stay in touch continuously for a worry-free experience.
4. Do you have certification?
A: Yes, we hold USDA certification for pet transportation.
5. Will my pet travel in a crate?
A: All pets are travelling in crates to insure their comfort and safety. It is also against USDA regulations for a pet in transport to not be in a crate.

A: After booking, we request a 50% deposit. You can conveniently make the deposit through Pay Pal, Venmo and CashApp. Feel free to choose the option that works best for you. The remaining 50% is due upon delivery. We can certainly discuss any preferences or arrangements you may have.
9. Are you offering GPS tracking?
A: Yes, we provide GPS Tracking if asked.
10. When will you be able to give me a timeframe for pickup/drop off?
A: The most accurate timeframe (a 2-hour window) will be provided the day before pickup/delivery. However, it is not guaranteed in cases where circumstances beyond our control arise. (Examples: traffic, accidents breakdowns, etc)
11. What information is needed from me?
A: We require a copy of the shot records, pickup/delivery addresses and phone numbers, and information about any and all medical conditions.
