I absolutely love painting pet portraits. They're an excellent way to treasure your beloved furry friend. Because pets tend to be squirmy, I work from photos that you happen to be especially fond of.

Words from a happy customer:
“I just want to let you know that my family loves the portrait you did of Jazz. You absolutely captured her quirky personality.”
– Michael J., Oakland, CA

Process:
We chat about what you’re looking for – this is a good time to email me a selection of photos that you’re considering and we decide what will work well as a painting. The conversation then turns to specifics: time frame, size, preferred medium, etc.

I’m happy to play with backgrounds, lighting, or just about any other way to spruce up a snapshot that you would otherwise love. I’ll send you a digital sketch prior to starting the painting.

Small portraits normally take about a month to 2 months to complete, larger paintings take approximately 2 -6 months depending on complexity and my current schedule.

Pricing
Paintings start at $300 and go up based on size and number of pets.

Please contact and book me on Petworks. Thank you.
