My name is Leslie Allen. I paint portraits of pets and their people. Watercolor is my medium, and I would describe my style as expressive realism. If you are looking for a portrait that looks like a photograph, I am not your person. If you are looking for a colorful rendition of your pet, full of texture and light, then I am your person!
I have painted many dogs and cats, and also horses, donkeys, birds, parrots and people. I welcome your ideas. I make sketches to begin, and that is when we discuss details and make changes. Once we agree on a design, I begin the painting.
